STUDIO SESSIONS
Last year's studio sessions resulted in the usual variety of artwork, inspired by our tutors, Micahel Kennedy, Michelle Parsons and Dominic Kennedy. Below is just one example, from a project based upon the work of Pierre Bonnard, by Valerie Webb.
TALK
Our talk last year was delivered by Catherine Moody and was an illustrated, in-depth look at the work of Claude Lorrain. This year Mark Lewis has agreed to be our speaker.
APRIL WORKSHOP
The April weekend workshop was preceded by a gallery visit, organised by tutor Dominic Kennedy, to the Pierre Bonnard exhibition at Tate Modern. The workshop involved quick studies of inside/outside scenes that were then developed in paint. The project was continued into the weekly sessions.
