WEEKEND ART TRIP

TO SULLINGTON MANOR FARM, WEST SUSSEX

Our first weekend trip since 2019, after which they were suspended owing to the Covid pandemic, was to a farm in a medieval hamlet in Sullington, West Sussex. The location supplied plenty of subject matter and our group stayed in four cottages on site. Our visit coincided with a flower and craft festival being held on the farm, which added to the atmosphere of the place. On Friday night we dined on fish & chips and on Saturday evening we had a splendid meal at The Red Lion in Ashington.
